ImpeachBush.org have sent a message to all of thier members asking them to support Cynthia McKinney and keep up the campaign.
They are working on putting an advert in the New York Times to highlight the impeachment process.
Here is the message,
Help put "Impeach Bush" on the agenda for the new Congress
Rep. Cynthia McKinney introduces impeachment resolution
Dear ,
As Bush scrambles to convince the American people that his fantasy of "victory" is within reach, the number of Iraqis and U.S. soldiers killed continues to soar. With each death, the calls for Impeachment are growing louder and louder.
As the new Congress takes office on January 4th, we must send a clear and powerful message: there can be no more excuses from the Democrats for their failure to adhere to the Constitution -- for their failure to introduce Articles of Impeachment. They have no right to take the law of the land "off the table." Bush and his cronies have violated the law, lied to the people of the United States and committed high crimes and misdemeanors. There is no question about it. The Constitution requires that action be taken.
Here at ImpeachBush.org/VoteToImpeach.org, we are prepared to have the impeachment movement hit the ground running when the new Congress returns to Washington in January. Throughout the country, supporters of impeachment are redoubling their efforts at outreach and making plans to bring the greatest pressure to bear on the new representatives. In the last four years, we have worked together to build a powerful movement. The time for impeachment has now come.
Click here to help place this ad
in the New York Times
We want to thank all of you who have provided feedback and discussion about the strategy in the months ahead. ImpeachBush.org has decided to begin placing the next New York Times ad and other newspaper ads in the period between January 3 and Bush's State of the Union address. This is when the ads will have their greatest impact. We need your help to place these ads. Please make a critically needed donation right now.
On January 4, the message of impeachment will resonate throughout Washington. On the very first day of congress, impeachment supporters will be demonstrating, lobbying, and organizing rallies and forums. Be sure to check your email for upcoming announcements.
Because of the hard work of volunteers and the generosity of donors, the ImpeachBush movement has reached ever larger numbers of people. More than 808,000 have now voted to impeach. We can reach the million mark with everyone encouraging their family, friends, and neighbors to vote at ImpeachBush.org.
This movement has become a powerful force and we need to bring that power, and this simple Constitutional demand, to bear in full force. Please help with this effort by making a donation today. Get your friends and family to sign the impeachment demand by clicking here.
As her outgoing act as a Congressional representative, Cynthia McKinney announced a resolution in support of Impeachment against President Bush, Vice President Cheney and Secretary of State Rice. The new Congress must take up this challenge. It is their duty. Her remarks are below.

McKinneys Impeachment Bill second highest rated story on AJC website
The Atlanta Journal Constitution, despite putting the story of McKinney's intrduction of Impeachment legislation on the back page,so to speak, ranks the story as it's second most popular on the website.
This proves that the story has legs and hopefully this will encourage a follow-up editorial.
Unfortunately the Atlanta Journal Constitution are not known for their favourable press towards McKinney, however with a little help they may be shown that this is a story with legs.

Ask the NY Times and the Washington Post why they aren't covering the biggest story of the weekend?
I think that a big question needs to be asked of the NY Times and the Washington Post...Why aren't you covering this story? The answers are actually quite obvious, but nonetheless we should send letters to the editor of both papers encouraging them to give the story coverage and not to swee it under the carpet.
Even a few lines will help.

A Cuban view on Impeachment
The story carried by the Latin American news network 'Prensa Latina' has much better coverage than AP or any large news agency in the US.

US Congress Sector Claims Bush Abdication
Washington, Dec 9 (Prensa Latina) US Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney presented a demand to subject President George W. Bush to a political trial for failure in the performance of his public duties, Arizona Daily Star published on Saturday.
After defending her proposal at the Capitol, Friday night, the representative for Georgia highlighted that W. Bush had violated his oath before the US citizens to defend the Constitution and federal laws.
The Afro American legislator demanded from the Congress to remove the republican president from his post, because she said that anyway, he is a president that was never legitimately elected.
McKinney accused the head of State of deceiving both parliamentarian forums and the US people about the war against Iraq, and violating privacy laws with his national espionage program.
The Congresswoman also criticized his party colleagues for following the republicans during a disastrous aggression against Iraq, where almost 3,000 US soldiers have died in three years and a half.
However, the Arizona daily said, the anti-Bush proposal does not have chances to be approved, because the new Representative Chamber President Nancy Pelosi warned that she would reject trials against the current occupant of the White House.

Impeachment cards for Pelosi
Someone left this message and link as a comment on the blog, I feel that it an important step and could send a message, so put it on your christmas list.
Holiday Impeachment Cards...
Impeach for Peace has created holiday impeachment cards that allow your friends and family to initiate the impeachment process. Deck the halls of congress with colorful impeachment petitions! Now that Representative McKinney has introduced Articles of Impeachment to Congress, it's time for us to show the other Members of Congress our support. So, Impeach for Peace created the Holiday Impeachment image, and researched a company that will allow you to send jumbo sized postcards along with a personalized message using your web browser. To learn more about this method of inititiating impeachment, go to: http://ImpeachForPeace.org/HolidayImpeachNow.html
Soon, Santa will be delivering sacks and sacks of mail to Nancy Pelosi initiating impeachment via the House of Representative's own rules. This legal document is as binding as if a State or if the House itself passed the impeachment resolution (H.R. 635). What better gift to give this holiday season than the restoration of our democracy? Truly the gift that keeps on giving. Over this past year, Bush has become an even greater threat to our Constitution. Lucky for us, the rules of the US House of Representatives allow for individual citizens like you and I to initiate the impeachment process directly! This process was successfully used to impeach in the past.
